14% of people will experience neck pain or problems.

21% of people will experience shoulder pain.

Musculoskeletal conditions cost $213 billion in direct and indirect expenses annually in the U.S. alone.

Corrective exercise is diagnosing and correcting postural distortion patterns due to muscle imbalances. For instance, if you experience upper back and neck pain due to working at a desk throughout the day its more than likely due to your shoulders hunching forward and poor posture. You have overactive muscles in the front of your body and underactive weak muscles in the posterior across your back. I work to relax and then stretch or lengthen the overactive muscles in the front while strengthening the underactive muscles in the back bringing everything back into proper alignment.

This can be the cause of upper and lower back pain, neck pain, knee pain, hip pain, shoulder pain and all the way down to your ankles. When there are muscles constantly pulling the skeleton out of alignment it becomes like a game of tug of war. Tendons, discs in your back and other soft tissue end up paying the price.

I have helped many people get full relief of their pain and a vast improvement to their quality of life. If you are experiencing pain in any of these areas fill out the contact form below with a brief description of your pain and I’ll contact you so that we can get you to a point of being pain-free.
