This video talks about the people who weigh you down in life and the people who push you forward. Our success is so closely related to the people we surround ourselves with. We have to cut the anchors loose and find more propellers.
When we don’t feel like doing something we need to saddle up and do it anyway because success is on the other side. The people who develop discipline, commitment, perseverance, and grit will succeed because they use those character traits to close the gap between the people who don’t feel like it and the people who do it.
This video goes into why you don’t actually want what you say you want and covers incongruence in your thoughts, feelings, and actions.
The start of my and hopefully your 21-day challenge. It takes 21 days to form a new habit. Let’s start building positive ones.
This post is not for the people who are happy with the life they have currently.
It’s more so for the people who feel like they are standing still in life. People who feel stuck. People who feel like they should be further along than they are. For those who feel like somethings missing.
So currently my highest regarded values are intelligence, hard work, and self-discipline. What’s crazy about that is that these values were developed over the last two and a half years. Key word Developed.
I’d like to start with fuck feelings and the negative thoughts that sometimes come with them I mean really, who can relate to this? Every once in a while, I feel like the world is closing in on me and nothing I do will ever mean anything. Like right now. That being said, I know it’s a lie because I have taught myself to recognize this pattern and see it for what it is. FUCKING BULLSHIT.
Well, the good news is that you’re right where your supposed to be, even though that’s probably not what you want to hear. What I mean by that is if you are constantly overwhelmed with thoughts like: I should be much further, I should have a significant other, I should have a career, Susie and I graduated at the same time and that bitch just got married and is making 80k a year, then that means that you are fully aware of the fact that you want more than what you currently have. So the question is what are you going to do about it?
